Abstract: Describes medieval to Little Ice Age glacier fluctuations at this cirque glacier. Chronology is obtained from radiocarbon-dated section (five dates) with alternating minerogenic layers and palaeosols containing tree logs. Minerogenic sediments were deposited by glacial meltwater; palaeosols were formed during periods of little or no glacial meltwater supply.
