Record #122846:

A simulated Antarctic fast ice ecosystem / Kevin R. Arrigo, James N. Kremer, Cornelius W. Sullivan.

Title: A simulated Antarctic fast ice ecosystem / Kevin R. Arrigo, James N. Kremer, Cornelius W. Sullivan.
Author(s): Arrigo, Kevin R.
Kremer, James N.
Sullivan, Cornelius W.
Date: 1993.
In: Journal of Geophysical Research. (1993.), Vol. 98(C4) (1993)
Abstract: To improve understanding of primary production within Antarctic fast-ice zone, two-dimensional model has been developed: formulations relating growth of sea-ice microalgae to temperature, spectral irradiance, nutrient concentration, and salinity were coupled to detailed temporally dynamic geophysical description of fast ice as it exists in McMurdo Sound. Model is tested and assessed.
