Abstract: | Equation is composed of deviatoric term, which describes changes in shape with constant volume, and isotropic term, which describes changes in volume with constant shape. Equation reduces to Glen's flow law for incompressible ice as limiting case Deviatoric and isotropic terms are expressed by exponential function of density. Dependence upon stress of isotropic term is given with new set-up, using power law. |
