Dielectric properties of ice containing acid and salt impurity at microwave and low frequencies / John Christopher Moore, Shuji Fujita.
Title: | Dielectric properties of ice containing acid and salt impurity at microwave and low frequencies / John Christopher Moore, Shuji Fujita. |
Author(s): | Moore, John Christopher. Fujita, Shuji. |
Date: | 1993. |
In: | Journal of Geophysical Research. (1993.), Vol. 98(B6) (1993) |
Abstract: | Presents microwave and low-frequency data on meteoric, artificial, and natural sea ices, complementary to review by Warren (Applied Optics, 1984, 23 :1206-1225) of optical properties of ice from ultraviolet to microwave. Here, importance is shown of concentration and type of chemical impurities that are present when determining electrical properties of ice. |
Notes: | Journal of Geophysical Research. Vol. 98(B6) :9769-9780 (1993). |
Keywords: | 551.32 -- Glaciology. 551.322 -- Ice and snow. 551.324 -- Land ice. 551.326 -- Floating ice. 54 -- Chemistry. 537.226 -- Ice, dielectrical properties. .000(410) -- British author. E4 -- Glaciology: physics and chemistry of ice. |
