| Abstract: | Skull and mandible dimensions were measured in 278 foxes from Fennoscandia, Siberia, Baffin Island, Greenland and Svalbard and comparisons made with literature. Fennoscandian and Siberian foxes were significantly larger than the others. Skull size reduced with increasing latitude. |
