Record #122641:

Subdivision of Late Pleistocene moraines in the Cordillera Blanca, Peru, based on rock-weathering features, soils, and radiocarbon dates / Donald T. Rodbell.

Title: Subdivision of Late Pleistocene moraines in the Cordillera Blanca, Peru, based on rock-weathering features, soils, and radiocarbon dates / Donald T. Rodbell.
Author(s): Rodbell, Donald T.
Date: 1993.
In: Quaternary Research. (1993.), Vol. 29(2) (1993)
Abstract: Weathering-post height, soil development, and radiocarbon dates support fourfold division of Pleistocene moraines on west side of range: Manachaque moraines 13.5-10.3 ka BP; Laguna Baja moraines older than 13.3 ka BP; Rurec moraines older than 19.7-590 ka BP; and Cojup moraines older than 4.3 Ma. Most temporally detailed moraine sequence recognized in Peruvian Andes.
Notes:
