Record #122626:

Effect of site disturbance on the soil thermal regime near Fort Simpson, Northwest Territories, Canada / H. Hayhoe, C. Tarnocai.

Title: Effect of site disturbance on the soil thermal regime near Fort Simpson, Northwest Territories, Canada / H. Hayhoe, C. Tarnocai.
Author(s): Hayhoe, H.
Tarnocai, C.
Date: 1993.
In: Arctic and Alpine Research. (1993.), Vol. 25(1) (1993)
Abstract: Analysis of soil temperature data from this area of discontinuous permafrost is used to examine sensitivity of northern environment to changes in land use. Data suggest continuing warming trend along pipeline right-of-way from 1988 to 1991. No corresponding increase in soil temperature at adjacent undisturbed site.
