| Abstract: | Radiocarbon dates of shells indicate that ridges are younger than 12.4 ka BP, whereas, according to existing chronostratigraphy of western Sweden, area was ice-free before 12.7 ka BP. Ridges are interpreted as push moraines and not deposits of stationary ice margin. |
