Record #122608:

Effects of sea water percolation through first year ice / E.J.-J. Hudier, R.G. Ingram.

Title: Effects of sea water percolation through first year ice / E.J.-J. Hudier, R.G. Ingram.
Author(s): Hudier, E. J. -J.
Ingram, R. G.
Date: 1993.
Publisher: Mombetsu: Okhotsk Sea & Cold Ocean Research Association :
In: Eighth International Symposium on Okhotsk Sea & Sea Ice and ISY/Polar Ice Extent Workshop abstracts; 1-5 February 1993, Mombetsu, Hokkaido, Japan. (1993.),
Abstract: Aim was to evaluate very low melt rates of sea ice on Saromo-ko (lagoon), Hokkaido, from measurements of salinity variations in controlled environment, so that salinity becomes direct function of melt or, during ice growth, would be direct function of brine flux from ice sheet. Discusses implications of results.
Notes:

In: The Eighth International Symposium on Okhotsk Sea & Sea Ice and ISY/Polar Ice Extent Workshop abstracts; 1-5 February 1993, Mombetsu, Hokkaido, Japan / Okhotsk Sea & Cold Ocean Research Association, Polar Ice Extent Workshop ISY.
