| Abstract: | Occurrences of Balanus hameri-bearing diamicts and pertinent (Balanus plates and pelecypods shells) ¹⁴C dates suggest that glacial activity occurred in Champlain Sea basin between 11 and 10.4 ka BP. Ascribes this to climatic cooling correlative with Younger Dryas of north-east Europe. |
