Abstract: Two types of rock glacier of talus-foot type occur in Phillips Inlet/Wootton Peninsula area of northwest Ellesmere Island: glacier ice-cored rock glaciers, above marine limit and coinciding with projected margins of former glaciers, and permafrost-related rock glaciers, below marine limit or in areas of former ice-dammed lakes.
