Abstract: | Proposes simple model for effect of adsorbed species on surface reaction rates. Model assumes that PSCs consist of only two types of solid: pure ice and pure nitric acid trihydrate. Also assumes reaction rate is determined by degree of surface adsorption rather than substrate composition. |
