Record #122391:

Precursors to SS and structure of transition zone of the north-western Pacific / N. Petersen, J. Gossler, R. Kind, K. Stammler, L. Vinnik.

Title: Precursors to SS and structure of transition zone of the north-western Pacific / N. Petersen, J. Gossler, R. Kind, K. Stammler, L. Vinnik.
Author(s): Petersen, N.
Gossler, J.
Kind, R.
Stammler, K.
Vinnik, L.
Date: 1993.
In: Geophysical Research Letters. (1993.), Vol. 20(4) (1993)
Abstract: Presents results of analysis of long-term underside SH reflections at mantle discontinuities. Most bounce points are in area of Japan and Kuril-Kamchatka subduction zones. Data is used to evaluate S660S-S410S differential times which are directly related to thickness of layer between two discontinuities. Describes techniques used.
