Title: | Studies of high-latitude seabirds. 3. A model of the energy demands of the seabirds of eastern and Arctic Canada / A.W. Diamond, A.J. Gaston, R.G.B. Brown. |
Author(s): | Diamond, A. W. Gaston, A. J. Brown, R. G. B. |
Date: | 1993. |
In: | Canadian Wildlife Service. Occasional Paper. (1993.), Vol. 77 (1993) |
Abstract: | Describes model covering eastern seaboard of Canada from Lancaster Sound area south to St. Lawrence estuary. Model integrates data from intensive studies at seabird breeding colonies with extensive observations at sea, using bioenergetics equations as bridge. Model is run independently for small geographic cells and then aggregated into oceanographic zones. |
Notes: | Canadian Wildlife Service. Occasional Paper. Vol. 77 :1-39 (1993). |
