Record #122280:

Implications of the radiocarbon timescale for ice-sheet chronology and sea-level change / A. Mark Tushingham, W. Richard Peltier.

Title: Implications of the radiocarbon timescale for ice-sheet chronology and sea-level change / A. Mark Tushingham, W. Richard Peltier.
Author(s): Tushingham, A. Mark.
Peltier, W. Richard.
Date: 1993.
In: Quaternary Research. (1993.), Vol. 39(1) (1993)
Abstract: New extended radiocarbon calibration curve has allowed reexamination of relative sea-level data based on pre-Holocene dates. At sites located far from Late Pleistocene ice sheet, effect of employing this new curve is that calibrated data now agree with corresponding relative sea-level curve predicted by ICE-3G deglaciation model (same authors, Journal of Geophysical Research, Vol. 96, 1991, p. 4497-4523). Discusses other implications arising from use of new curve.
