Physiological adaptation to subantarctic climate by the Kerguelen cabbage, Pringlea antiscorbutica R. Br. / A.J. Dorne, R. Bligny.

Title: Physiological adaptation to subantarctic climate by the Kerguelen cabbage, Pringlea antiscorbutica R. Br. / A.J. Dorne, R. Bligny.
Author(s): Dorne, A. J.
Bligny, R.
Date: 1993.
In: Polar Biology. (1993.), Vol. 13(1) (1993)
Abstract: Results of preliminary investigations of stomatal control of Kerguelen cabbage leaves observed under field and laboratory conditions. Results support hypothesis that plant is adapted specifically to cool, moist conditions of Iles Kerguelen and other subantarctic islands where it is endemic.
