Abstract: | Author seeks to understand why problem of violence is apparently greatest in Ittoqqortoormiit, where traditional culture has survived more than in most parts of Greenland. He sets up model on six assumptions, including non-confrontational nature of Inuit culture and "frenzied" drinking style. It fits case well. |
