| Abstract: | Zooplankton were collected from five depth strata at 12 stations along two sections across Nansen Basin in July 1987. Vertical and horizontal distribution of biomass and abundance of four dominant copepods and their gonad maturity state are given, with egg production of three species in upper 80 m. Four biological provinces were distinguished which agreed with hydrographic regimes. Article locates and describes provinces. |
