Record #121203:

Present day world-view among West Greenlandic Inuit / H.G. Hansen.

Title: Present day world-view among West Greenlandic Inuit / H.G. Hansen.
Author(s): Hansen, H. G.
Date: 1992.
Publisher: Budapest: Akadémiai Kiadó ;
In: Northern religions and shamanism. (1992.), Vol. 1
Abstract: Author suggests that Greenlanders have their own set of potential relationships, best expressed as "unofficial subject-ecology" with nature and "exchange relations" in school. He also says that although Greenland is now officially homogeneous, in fact West Greenlandic language is only official one. Clear idea of implicit pan-Greenlandic world-view may be discerned, however.
