Record #120830:

Multivariate sensitivities of a dynamic--thermodynamic sea ice model / William L. Chapman, William J. Welch, Kenneth P. Bowman, Jerome Sacks, John E. Walsh.

Title: Multivariate sensitivities of a dynamic--thermodynamic sea ice model / William L. Chapman, William J. Welch, Kenneth P. Bowman, Jerome Sacks, John E. Walsh.
Author(s): Chapman, William L.
Welch, William J.
Bowman, Kenneth P.
Sacks, Jerome.
Walsh, John E.
Date: 1992.
Publisher: Boston, MA: American Meteorological Society
In: Third Conference Polar Meteorology and Oceanography, 29 Sept-2 Oct 1992, Portland, Oregon. (1992.),
Abstract: Combination of physically based sea-ice model and statistical model appears to offer potential for diagnosing interdependencies of parametric sensitivities. Here, sensitivities and interdependencies are shown to be easily resolvable in parameter space and quite consistent with physical expectation. Minimum lead fraction and turbulent exchange coefficients ere particularly important parameters.
