| Abstract: | Dinoflagellate cysts are recorded for first time from uppermost part of thick turbidite succession in Itilli valley, immediately below Tertiary pillow breccia. Such cysts are rare in these sediments and diversity low. Presence of Palaeocystodinum australium and pollen Wodehousia spinata indicates presence of uppermost Maastrichtian to lowermost Paleocene sediments. |
