Record #120521:

The surface mass balance of the Antarctic Peninsula ice sheet / Richard M. Frolich.

Title: The surface mass balance of the Antarctic Peninsula ice sheet / Richard M. Frolich.
Author(s): Frolich, Richard M.
Date: 1992.
Publisher: Cambridge: British Antarctic Survey
Abstract: Estimates this to be 294±36 Gt a⁻¹ for conterminous grounded ice and 491±79Gt a⁻¹ for all ice surfaces combined. Equivalent figures for whole Antarctic of 1572±165 Gt a⁻¹ and 2144±240 Gt a⁻¹ are obtained by updating previous estimate. Points out sources of error, and identifies weaknesses in these estimates and gaps in data.
Notes:

Offprint: The contribution of Antarctic Peninsula ice to sea level rise. Report for the Commission of the European Communities Project EPOC-CT90-0015 / Elizabeth M. Morris, ed.
