Record #120444:

A multiple scattering model for the atmosphere--snow system / Teruo Aoki.

Title: A multiple scattering model for the atmosphere--snow system / Teruo Aoki.
Author(s): Aoki, Teruo.
Date: 1992.
In: National Institute of Polar Research. Proceedings of the NIPR Symposium on Polar Meteorology and Glaciology. (1992.), Vol. 6 (1992)
Abstract: Applies Mie theory to snow layer composed of ice grain particles. Both atmosphere and snow cover can be divided into any layers in this model. Not only surface albedo of snow cover but also planetary albedo at top of atmosphere, radiant flux density and radiance at each boundary of atmosphere and snow cover can be calculated at any wavelength.
