Abstract: Till stratigraphy from four locations is described, genesis of tills is discussed, and attempt made to establish extent. Analyses used for classification of units are till fabric, grain size, calcium carbonate content, petrography, and content of reworked microfossils. Comparison of results with earlier ones indicates that they were deposited by ice stream moving from Baltic basin in east. Deposition occurred during early Late Weichselian.
