Record #119738:

Cryoturbations: a sediment structural analysis / Jef Vanderberghe.

Title: Cryoturbations: a sediment structural analysis / Jef Vanderberghe.
Author(s): Vanderberghe, Jef.
Date: 1992.
In: Permafrost and Periglacial Processes. (1992.), Vol. 3(4) (1992)
Abstract: Sedimentary structures resulting from these deformations differ according to mechanism involved. Diagnostic characterization by sedimentary structure is especially suited to distinguish between deformations caused by either cryohydrostatic and cryostatic preesure or by periglacial loading.
Notes:

Permafrost and Periglacial Processes. Vol. 3(4) :343-352 (1992).

Keywords: 551.34 -- Geocryology. Frozen ground.
551.343.2 -- Cryoturbation and patterned ground.
E8 -- Glaciology: frost action and permafrost.
