Record #119699:

Arctic push moraines, a case study of the Thompson Glacier moraine, Axel Heiberg Island, N.W.T., Canada / Rainer Lehmann.

Title: Arctic push moraines, a case study of the Thompson Glacier moraine, Axel Heiberg Island, N.W.T., Canada / Rainer Lehmann.
Author(s): Lehmann, Rainer.
Date: 1992.
Abstract: Push moraines develop as glacier advances into frozen glaciofluvial sediments. Moraine grows at front while additional frozen blocks are raised in outwash plain and incorporated into moraine: thus, glacier and moraine advance as one. This causes stacking of permafrost.
