Record #119670:

Quaternary stratigraphy, paleoecology, and glacial geology, Îles de la Madeleine, Quebec / L.A. Dredge, R.J. Mort, D.R. Grant.

Title: Quaternary stratigraphy, paleoecology, and glacial geology, Îles de la Madeleine, Quebec / L.A. Dredge, R.J. Mort, D.R. Grant.
Author(s): Dredge, L. A.
Mort, R. J.
Grant, D. R.
Date: 1992.
In: Canadian Journal of Earth Sciences. (1992.), Vol. 29(9) (1992)
Abstract: Reviews debate over whether these islands in St Lawrence River were glaciated, when glaciation might have occurred and what diamictons represent. Attempts to resolve some of these problems by systematic descriptions of stratigraphic sections, interpreting genesis of deposits, and proposing sequence of Late Quaternary events that would explain landscape elements.
