Record #119571:

Temperature dependence of X-ray diffuse scattering intensity in ice Ih / Akira Goto, Kazuhiro Satoh, Takeo Hondoh, Shinji Mae.

Title: Temperature dependence of X-ray diffuse scattering intensity in ice Ih / Akira Goto, Kazuhiro Satoh, Takeo Hondoh, Shinji Mae.
Author(s): Goto, Akira.
Satoh, Kazuhiro.
Hondoh, Takeo.
Mae, Shinji.
Date: 1992.
Publisher: Sapporo: Hokkaido University Press
In: Physics and chemistry of ice. (1992.),
Abstract: Measurements from 180 to 260 K show that diffuse scattering around (112̅1) forbidden reflection suggests that ice has instantaneously and/or locally lower symmetry than "half-hydrogen" model and increase of intensity with temperature implies disorder origin.
Notes:

In: Physics and chemistry of ice / Norikazu Maeno, Takeo Hondoh, eds.

Keywords: 551.32 -- Glaciology.
551.322 -- Ice and snow.
53 -- Physics.
539.13 -- Ice, molecular structure.
E4 -- Glaciology: physics and chemistry of ice.
