| Abstract: | Goal of study was to estimate water balance by study of distribution of annual precipitation and annual mean discharge from entire icefield averaged over long period. Map with scale of 1:250 000 was used to obtain information on division of drainage basins, hydrometric data, and distribution of precipitation and air temperature in and around icefield. Results are presented and confirm marked differences in precipitation and discharge between eastern and western sides of icefield. |
