Record #119380:

The high-level marine shell-bearing deposits of Clava, Inverness-shire, and their origin as glacial rafts / J.W. Merritt.

Title: The high-level marine shell-bearing deposits of Clava, Inverness-shire, and their origin as glacial rafts / J.W. Merritt.
Author(s): Merritt, J. W.
Date: 1992.
In: Quaternary Science Reviews. (1992.), Vol. 11(7-8) (1992)
Abstract: Presents results of re-excavation of original site, which was investigated in 1892, together with critical re-examination of other sections examined in 1975. Evidence points to deformation of shelly deposits by glacial processes, and it seems possible that they have been transported glacially as rafts derived from Great Glen.
