| Abstract: | Analyses distributions of plankton- and fish-eating seabird species occuring Bering Strait region during summer using geographical information system (GIS) software. Measures carbon flow through seabird communities on subregional basis and considers observed patterns of seabird distribution at sea with respect to major current regimes, water column turbulence and stability, primary productivity, and zooplankton and pelagic fish communities. |
