Record #119218:

Transition from the Sangamon interglaciation to the Wisconsin glaciation along the southeastern margin of the Laurentide ice sheet, North America / Aleksis Dreimanis.

Title: Transition from the Sangamon interglaciation to the Wisconsin glaciation along the southeastern margin of the Laurentide ice sheet, North America / Aleksis Dreimanis.
Author(s): Dreimanis, Aleksis.
Date: 1992.
Publisher: Berlin: Springer
In: Start of a glacial. (1992.),
Abstract: Several possible correlations are discussed. In area along south-east margin of ice sheet, climatic optimum of Sangamon interglacial was warmer and probably drier than at present. Laurentide ice sheet began to grow in north-east Labrador, but expansion south-west was slow, with oscillations, reaching western Great Lakes during isotopic stage 4.
