| Abstract: | Deformation of salt of Salina Formation in central New York state is shown by thinning of salt stratum in and near outcrop zone where it was overridden by ice sheet, and by thickening down-dip near glacial limits. Other suggestions of deformation are found in northeastern Ohio and in lower Michigan peninsula. |
