| Abstract: | Abstract only. Isotopic composition of water vapour changes dramatically when even small amounts of air pass through snow bank. Rates of isotopic equilibration between vapour and solid phases can be observed by testing isotopic composition of pore-space water vapour at regular intervals during forced air pumping experiment. Extent is crucial to interpreting stable isotope record in ice cores. |
