Snow properties derived from TM and SAR measurements / W. Rosenthal, J. Shi, Jeff Dozier.

Title: Snow properties derived from TM and SAR measurements / W. Rosenthal, J. Shi, Jeff Dozier.
Author(s): Rosenthal, W.
Shi, J.
Dozier, Jeff.
Date: 1992.
In: Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1992.), Vol. 73(43, fall meeting supplement) (1992)
Abstract: Abstract only. Discusses degree of sensitivity to various snow parameters shown by synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and Landsat thematic mapper (TM), and describes method of evaluating this for SAR and TM measurements, tested over glaciers of Ötztal Alps, Austria. Extent to which snow properties can be uniquely identified through coupling of SAR and TM measurements is evaluated.
Notes:
