Abstract: Describes selection of and techniques used for applying 17 methods for evaluation. Methods were classified into subjective and analytical categories: two subjective methods (discharge ratio and hydrographic-and-climatic comparison) were more accurate than other subjective methods, and almost as accurate as best analytical method.
