Record #118751:

Sedimentological evidence for deformation from the forefield of Trapridge Glacier, Yukon Territory / Tavi Murray, Garry K.C. Clarke.

Title: Sedimentological evidence for deformation from the forefield of Trapridge Glacier, Yukon Territory / Tavi Murray, Garry K.C. Clarke.
Author(s): Murray, Tavi.
Clarke, Garry K. C.
Date: 1992.
In: Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1992.), Vol. 73(43, fall meeting supplement) (1992)
Abstract: Abstract only. Motion of glacier during surging requires fundamental change in basal conditions and observations during quiescence do not necessarily reflect conditions during surging. Discusses mechanism for fast flow, and surmises that extensive deformation of basal sediments occurred during last surge, with sliding featrures probably developing after main advance.
