Record #118684:

Late Cretaceous--early Tertiary Antarctic outcrop evidence for past vegetation and climates / Rosemary A. Askin.

Title: Late Cretaceous--early Tertiary Antarctic outcrop evidence for past vegetation and climates / Rosemary A. Askin.
Author(s): Askin, Rosemary A.
Date: 1992.
In: Antarctic Research Series. (1992.), Vol. 56 (1992)
Abstract: Outlines different types of plant fossils and information they convey, and summarises and updates available data from geologic record on Antarctic continent where exposed plant-bearing sedimentary rocks of Late Cretaceous and Early Tertiary age occur in Antarctic Peninsula area. Compares record from these sources with those from other sources such as piston cores and drill holes on continental and coastal margins. Extensive references.
