Title: Flood generation and destruction of "Drift" glacier by the 1989-90 eruption of Redoubt Volcano, Alaska / D.C. Trabant, D.F. Meyer.
Author(s): Trabant, D. C.
Meyer, D. F.
Date: 1992.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1992.), Vol. 16 (1992)
Abstract: Describes general processes of fluidization of snow and glacier ice that occurred during four largest eruptions of volcano during 1989-90. Object was to improve flood hazard predictions during course of eruptions by assessing relation between volcanic activity and changing distribution of snow and ice.
