Antarctic session, chaired by John Lovering, included report on early days (1947--66) of ANARE (Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions) when Law was senior scientific officer and later director of Antarctic Division, by Richard Thompson; tribute from Mawson station via direct link [transcript]; and report by William Budd on Australian contributions to Antarctic science and prospects for the future.
