Record #118331:

Nitrogen mineralization and streamwater chemistry, Rock Creek Watershed, Denali National Park, Alaska, U.S.A. / Robert Stottlemyer.

Title: Nitrogen mineralization and streamwater chemistry, Rock Creek Watershed, Denali National Park, Alaska, U.S.A. / Robert Stottlemyer.
Author(s): Stottlemyer, Robert.
Date: 1992.
In: Arctic and Alpine Research. (1992.), Vol. 24(4) (1992)
Abstract: Reports study of change in upstream-downstream streamwater chemistry and terrestrial nitrification and nitrogen mineralization on south-facing, gauged watershed vegetated by spruce-aspen at low elevations, alder at mid- elevations, and dry-mesic tundra at upper elevations. Compares vegetation productivity and nutrient cycling rates as indicated by summer nitrification and nitrogen mineralization, and examines whether variation in these processes is reflected in stream water.
