| Abstract: | Presents regional synthesis of published and unpublished geologic investigations from southern Baffin Island, northern Ungava Peninsula, and northern Labrador and offshore marine stratigraphic studies within Hudson Strait, Frobisher Bay, and adjacent continental shelf. Focuses on importance of late glacial events in outer Hudson Strait when ice-sheet geometry was responding to significant changes in climate, sea level, and oceanographic conditions. |
