Record #117997:

The western Barents Sea and the Svalbard archipelago 18 000 years ago -- a finite-difference computer model reconstruction / Elisabeth Isaksson.

Title: The western Barents Sea and the Svalbard archipelago 18 000 years ago -- a finite-difference computer model reconstruction / Elisabeth Isaksson.
Author(s): Isaksson, Elisabeth.
Date: 1992.
In: Journal of Glaciology. (1992.), Vol. 38(129) (1992)
Abstract: One-dimensional finite-difference model used to reconstruct steady-state ice sheet over this area at last glacial maximum. Model reconstructs ice-surface elevation as output based on information about glacial geology, bed topography, basal conditions, mass balance, flow-band width, ice-stream length, and flow-law constraints. Result suggests marine ice dome 1700 m high east of Spitsbergen and terrestrial dome 1350 m high over north-west Spitsbergen.
