Abstract: Occurs on flat summit, altitude 2200 m a.s.l. At present, ground surface temperature is main controlling factor. Mean annual air temperature is -3.8°C. On flat vegetation-free surface, lower boundary of permafrost is inferred to be 8.5 m deep.
