Abstract: Presents experimental study of improvement of creep characteristics of ice plates by reinforcement with various additives. Several creep experiments on fresh-water ice plates with and without reinforcement were carried out at -10°C. All plates were of diameter 650 mm and thickness 50 mm. Best results were achieved with glass fibre combined with wood flour.
