| Abstract: | Addresses problem of continuous indentation of ship or offshore structure into ice sheet. Impacter is represented by mass-spring-dashpot system having constant velocity relative to ice sheet. Dynamic response of this simple analogue model of ice-structure interaction is studied in some detail. |
