Ice force and rubble-related research studies at Isserk I-15 / J.P. Poplin, J.S. Weaver.

Title: Ice force and rubble-related research studies at Isserk I-15 / J.P. Poplin, J.S. Weaver.
Author(s): Poplin, J. P.
Weaver, J. S.
Date: 1992.
Publisher: New York: American Society of Mechanical Engineers
In: Proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Offshore Mechanics and Arctic Engineering - 1992. Presented ... Calgary, Alberta, Canada, June 7-12, 1992. Vol. 4 - Arctic/polar technology. (1992.),
Abstract: Describes investigation of landfast ice forces on bottom-founded structures and grounded ice-rubble fields in Beaufort Sea, at Isserk I-15 lease block located 17 km offshore, during winter 1989-90. Water depth at site is 11.5 m. Rubble field about 600 m long formed as series of wedges against east side of structure during freezeup.
