Abstract: | Towing-tank experiments were conducted on scale-model ice floes in order to estimate relative contributions of skin friction and form drag to total ice--water resisting force. Results are used to formulate individual parametric drag coefficient relationships for each contribution as function of ice-floe characteristics. |
