Record #117921:

Possible ice-core evidence for a fresh melt water cap over the Atlantic Ocean in the Early Holocene / David A. Fisher.

Title: Possible ice-core evidence for a fresh melt water cap over the Atlantic Ocean in the Early Holocene / David A. Fisher.
Author(s): Fisher, David A.
Date: 1992.
Publisher: Berlin: Springer
In: Last deglaciation : absolute and radiocarbon chronologies. (1992.),
Abstract: Discusses evidence from ice core obtained from top of flowline of Agassiz ice cap, Ellesmere Island, and then reviews numerical experiments carried out with stable isotope/precipitation model. Model is run for Arctic ice-cap sites in present conditions, but changing δ¹⁸O and δD of source water over wide range and as function of latitude. Finally, model is run using present conditions but altering sea-ice coverage, wind, and relative humidity.
