Abstract: AMS radiocarbon stratigraphies on terrestrial plant from Switzerland remains reveal three distinct phases of constant radiocarbon ages during late glacial and Early Holocene, at 12.7, 10, and 9.5 ¹⁴C ka BP. These results are correlated with floating varve chronology from Soppensee based on palynostratigraphy. First estimates for 10 and 9.5 ka BP yield duration of 400 varves.
